About Our Iron Infusions
Vital IV Therapy offers intravenous iron infusions for people with diagnosed iron deficiency. Iron deficiency is identified by your doctor through a blood test. If your GP confirms low iron, they can prescribe IV iron and provide a referral — and our registered nurses will administer the infusion for you in a comfortable clinical setting.
If you suspect low iron, a blood test and GP consultation are the first step.
How to Access an Iron Infusion
with Vital IV Therapy
1. Visit Your GP
Speak with your doctor to assess your iron levels.
You will need:
- A prescription for IV iron (Ferinject only pls)
- A referral letter addressed to Vital IV Therapy, including dosage
- A copy of your recent blood test results
2. Collect Your Iron
Take your prescription to a pharmacy and collect your iron.
Bring this with you to your appointment.
3. Book Your Appointment
Once you have your prescription and referral, contact us to schedule your infusion.
4. Attend Your Infusion
Your infusion will be administered by our nursing team in a comfortable clinical setting.
Appointments typically take 1–2 hours.
